Returns Process

Merchandise may be returned within 7 days of delivery. 

 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. 

 

Exchanges for different products are acceptable.

 

To return merchandise purchased on www.Dragonflies.in, please follow the steps below:

 

  •  Email us your return request at connect@dragonflies.in  indicating the order number, which items you want to return and the reason for return.

  • If you are interested in exchanging for a different product, please indicate the item(s) you wish to receive in exchange (links or pictures). We will reply to acknowledge the availability of the new items you wish to order.

  • Pack your return merchandise securely with all tags as delivered (in the original packaging if possible) and include a copy of your invoice or a note with your name, email address, and phone number.    

  • Write the Order Number on the front of the box/package so that it is easily visible.

  • Once approved, the refund will be processed within 7 business days.

Refunds ( If applicable )​

Merchandise may be returned for ONLINE STORE CREDIT only, or to be Exchanged for a different item (upon availability).

 

Credit will be applied for the amount paid for the product. Credit will only be applied for the item, not for any shipping and handling charges.

 

Exchanges for different products are acceptable and the difference would be applied to your credit (when exchanging for a lower value item) or invoiced to you (when exchanging for a higher value item)  via email to be paid before shipping the new product to you. 

 

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

 

Once approved, then your refund will be processed to the original form of payment within 7 business days. You will also be notified via email.

 

Refunds to your credit card or original method of payment, applies for damage/defective items only.

 

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable):

 

 

 

  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error

 

 

  • Any item that is returned more than 7 days after delivery

 

 

  • Any handcrafted/artisan-made product that is returned for having minimal cosmetic imperfections that do not compromise its functionality and durability. ​

 
Sale Items ( If applicable )

 

All merchandise purchased on sale are non refundable

 

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately clearance sale items cannot be refunded.

Shipping your return​

To return your product, please first contact us first at connect@dragonflies.in  to receive instructions to ship your package.

 

Return labels are available per request. You can save time and get better shipping rates by using our prepaid labels.

 

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. Return label cost will be deducted from your refund/credit.

 

Exceptions may apply for damage items. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping label will be deducted from your refund.

 

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

 

Dragonflies cannot accept responsibility for items not received or damaged in transit.

 

 

 

Return or exchanging Defective/Damage items ( If applicable )

 

 

All claims regarding defective/damaged orders must be reported prior to shipping return items. Please email us at connect@dragonflies.in. When sending your email, please include the following:

 

  • If the item(s) received was defective or damaged in transit.

     

  • Describe the defect and if you would like a replacement or refund.

     

  • Upload a photo if the item is damaged.

     

Follow the return instructions above for online purchases. Once we confirm a damaged item was received, we will process a prepaid return shipping label to the email address on file. Please affix the prepaid return label and write your order number on the return package. If available, the correct item will be shipped to you free of charge.

  

 

Please note that all defective items are subject to inspection. We replace items if they are defective or damaged but please consider that our products are handcrafted/artisan-made, so minimal cosmetic imperfections could be found without compromising its functionality and durability. In most cases, we can't exchange it for the exact same item, since most of our products are one of a kind. Exchanges for different products are acceptable. Please send us an email at connect@dragonflies.in as indicated above to review your case before sending the item back.

 

Late or Missing refunds ( If applicable )

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

 

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

 

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Store Credit​

Online Store Credit is non-transferable, cannot be redeemed for cash, and cannot be returned for a refund to the original form of payment once it has been issued. An email will be sent with instructions on how to access or apply your store credit.
